Billing terms for creator platform plans, audience subscriptions, usage charges, AI credits, products, courses, tips, coupons, cancellations, and refunds.

1. Draft status
This Subscription and Billing Policy is a practical operating draft and must be reviewed by a qualified Canadian lawyer before launch, especially for consumer protection, renewal, cancellation, refund, tax, and Quebec requirements.
2. Creator platform subscriptions
Creator platform plans are subscriptions from a creator to Vibeler. They are separate from audience subscriptions that fans buy from creators. Current plan names are Free, Vibeler, and Vibeler Plus.
- Free currently has no monthly platform fee, 0 AI credits, baseline media limits, limited theme features, 10,000 covered emails, and a 1.5% platform commission on eligible creator earnings.
- Vibeler currently costs $19.99 per month, includes 100 AI credits per month, 20,000 covered emails, paid creator features such as newsletter, AI Studio, monetization, moderation, custom domains, full theme customization, and a 1.5% platform commission.
- Vibeler Plus currently costs $99 per month, includes 500 AI credits per month, 50,000 covered emails, community, events, gamification, advanced analytics, and a 1.5% platform commission.
3. Usage charges and AI credits
AI credits are granted through paid creator plans and booster packs. Booster packs are separate purchases. Credits and booster packs should be reviewed for expiry, refunds, taxation, and consumer disclosure before launch.
Newsletter sends use covered email allowances and eligible coverage pools before Vibeler charges shortfalls through the Stage's saved platform payment method. Current email overage cost basis in the pricing strategy is $0.0004 per email beyond covered allowance.
4. Audience subscriptions, products, courses, tips, and coupons
Creators can define audience subscription plans, product pricing, course pricing, coupons, and tips. A purchase or subscription grants the access described at checkout and in the creator's public Stage, subject to successful Stripe payment and Vibeler entitlement reconciliation.
Creators must keep pricing, benefits, trial terms if any, coupon limits, product/course details, and refund policies accurate. Audience members should review the creator's terms before paying.
5. Payment processing
Vibeler uses Stripe for payment method collection, checkout, invoicing, subscription management, payment status, Connect onboarding, payouts, disputes, and chargebacks. Stripe's rules and terms may apply in addition to Vibeler's policies.
Vibeler may delay, deny, reverse, suspend, or require more review for transactions that appear fraudulent, abusive, unlawful, chargeback-prone, processor-blocked, or policy-violating.
6. Changes, cancellations, and failed payment
Creator upgrades may take effect immediately. Scheduled downgrades generally take effect at the end of the current billing period where implemented. Free stages keep an active Free platform subscription row without a Stripe subscription.
Audience subscription cancellation, access end dates, and failed payment behavior depend on Stripe status, creator plan settings, and Vibeler entitlement reconciliation. Overdue creator platform payments may result in retries, payment notices, suspension of paid features, or downgrade to Free where implemented.
7. Refunds, chargebacks, and taxes
Vibeler does not promise automatic refunds. Refund availability depends on applicable law, the creator's disclosed refund policy, payment status, product/course access, subscription period, Stripe dispute rules, and Vibeler's platform integrity review.
Creators and buyers are responsible for their own tax obligations unless Vibeler or Stripe is legally required to calculate, collect, remit, or report specific taxes. Lawyer review is needed before launch to confirm Canadian sales tax and marketplace/payment responsibilities.
