Your Account, Your Control

Your data. Your subscribers. Your Stage. You're in control of it all.

Profile Customization

Your profile is your first impression. Make it count.

What to include

  • Profile photo: Your face or logo. Clear and recognizable.
  • Bio: One sentence that tells people who you are and what you do.
  • Links: Your website, social profiles, portfolio.

Bio tip: Don't overthink it. "I teach people how to cook without recipes" is better than a paragraph of credentials.

Stage Settings

Basic Info

  • Stage name (your brand)
  • Handle (your URL)
  • Description (what's your Stage about?)
  • Profile image

Advanced Options

  • Custom domain setup
  • Brand colors and themes
  • Navigation and layout

Platform Subscription Tiers

Your plan determines:

  • Monthly AI credits
  • Which creator tools are available
  • Email send limits
  • Advanced analytics

Start with the free tier. Upgrade when you're earning enough to justify it. Paid plans unlock newsletter sends, AI credits, custom domains, full theme customization, community, events, and advanced analytics while the platform commission stays 1.5%.

Security Settings

Email Verification Codes

Sensitive creator actions can require a short-lived verification code sent to your email.

Passkeys are optional for faster sign-in, but you do not need one to manage payouts, billing, pricing, or custom domains.

Password Management

  • Use a strong, unique password
  • Consider a password manager (1Password, Bitwarden, etc.)
  • Change it if you suspect any compromise

Security = Trust: Your subscribers trust you with their payment info. Take that seriously.

Email Preferences

You will receive important transactional email for security, payments, billing, and account operations. Creator newsletters have unsubscribe controls for audience recipients.

  • Product updates: New features, improvements
  • Tips & best practices: How to grow your Stage
  • Revenue notifications: New subscribers, sales
  • Security alerts: Login attempts, password changes (keep this on)

Broader notification preference controls should be treated as product-managed as they appear in account settings, not as a promise that every email type can be disabled today.

Data Rights (PIPEDA, CCPA, GDPR)

Your data. Your rights. Here's what you can do:

Access Your Data

Request a copy of everything we have about you. We'll handle it through the appropriate privacy request process.

Export Your Data

You can request a copy of your account data, content, subscriber records, and analytics. Self-serve surfaces show current audience and analytics data; support can help with deeper portability requests.

Correct Your Data

Something wrong? Update it yourself in settings, or contact support.

Delete Your Data

Want to leave? Request account deletion or creator account closure. We'll remove personal information where legally possible while retaining records required for payments, disputes, tax, security, and compliance.

Canadian law (PIPEDA): As a Canadian company, we comply with strict privacy standards. Your data is protected by some of the strongest privacy laws in the world.

Payment & Tax Information

Stripe Connection

Your Stripe account handles all payments. You can update your banking info, tax documents, and payout schedule directly in Stripe.

Tax Documents

We need this for compliance:

  • Canada: Business Number (if applicable) or SIN
  • US: SSN or EIN for tax reporting
  • Other countries: Tax ID as required

Not tax advice: Talk to an accountant about your specific situation. We just handle the platform side.

Managing Subscriber Data

Your subscribers' information is protected. You can:

  • View subscriber lists
  • Import or invite members where your plan allows it
  • See subscription tiers and status
  • Track subscriber activity

What you can't do: Sell their data, share it with third parties without consent, or misuse it. Be trustworthy.

Account Deletion

If you decide to leave Vibeler, contact support to close your creator account. Creator closure needs a managed process because it can affect public content, active subscribers, Stripe payouts, refunds, and legal records.

What happens during closure

  • We help you plan content and Stage visibility changes
  • Active subscriptions are reviewed and handled through Stripe
  • Personal data is removed where legally possible
  • You can request a copy of exportable content first
  • Financial records are retained as legally required

Before closure: Request any data export you need, communicate with subscribers, and confirm how paid access should wind down. Once closure is complete, some things can't be recovered.
